After passing through a winding underground passage, the Epoch Clan party emerged into a vast cavern. Looking up, they saw purple biolights flickering across the ceiling, casting a faint glow over the entire subterranean space.
Perhaps because of the dim surroundings, they could not see the walls no matter which way they looked. Before them stretched a bridge that seemed to hang in midair, leading into the same murky darkness ahead.
The party proceeded slowly. Dense fog seemed to fill the surroundings, and only the purple light overhead remained faintly visible. It was supposed to be a royal court, yet someone's bizarre sense of humor had turned it into this.
After walking for over a thousand meters, they finally saw an enormous palace ahead, seemingly suspended in midair. No rock walls could be seen around it; the underground cavern was so immense that it felt as though the earth itself had been hollowed out.
The four Epoch Clan security guards were stopped outside the palace. Mana Haisha, surrounded by the gazes of countless Zerg guards, calmly walked toward the palace. That alone was not something an ordinary person could manage.
Outside the palace doors, the Zerg guards halted. The lead guard bent at the waist and gestured inward. Mana Haisha gave a slight nod and entered the palace alone.
The grand and solemn palace was decorated in a distinctly Zerg style. Purple biolights on the walls cast a faint glow through the hall.
There were no guards or ministers in the hall. Only Sarah sat high upon the throne, looking down at Mana Haisha as she approached at an unhurried pace.
When she reached the front, Mana Haisha bowed, her expression solemn as she said in a deep voice, "Your Majesty the Queen, it is an honor to meet you."
