Behind her, at the other end of the corridor, a cheetah came racing in at incredible speed. Both its forelegs had been replaced with mechanical limbs, three blade-like claws extended from each. Every step gouged three deep claw marks into the floor.

Luke let out a soft breath.

White mist spread before her.

The real show was about to begin.

The approaching cheetah pounced as a root burst through the floor behind Luke.

Luke vanished amid a scatter of ice blossoms.

Two curved blades danced wildly through the air as two Ice Wheels, shredding the cheetah and the root into pieces like a grinder.

When Luke reappeared, she was already standing behind the two Mad Axe Gang members.

She stretched out both hands, and the two whirling Ice Wheels flew back into her grasp, conveniently slicing off the heads of the two Mad Axe Gang members along the way.

The headless Mad Axe Gang members turned under Chad's root control and swung their axes at Luke.

Luke gripped the two returning curved blades and slashed downward. Blade light carved two tracks into the floor. Chad's roots were severed, and the headless Mad Axe Gang members finally collapsed.

Frost spread from where Luke stood, and beautiful Ice Mist Flowers bloomed in the air once more.

At the same time, more than a dozen roots stabbed out from the walls and floor all around her.

The power of Ice Dance Garden cast by an level 80 Clear Sky was no match for one cast at level 60.

The protruding roots were instantly frozen by the extreme cold and snapped in half with the lightest touch of a blade.

Moisture and bitter cold swept up a blizzard through the corridor, carrying blooming Ice Mist Flowers toward Chad.

The cold assault, the dead bodies, and the expanding ice layer in the corridor made Chad realize the gap in strength between himself and the intruder.

Watching the Elf rush toward him across the ice, Chad tried to pull back his feet, but all his roots had been frozen into the walls and floor.

Unable to move, Chad could only wave his vine-like arms, lashing his axe at Luke.

Gliding across the ice, Luke shifted sideways and ran up the ice coating the wall, turned across the ceiling, then slid down the opposite wall.

Dodging the axe and vine arms, Luke entered spatial teleportation range. With a flicker, she appeared at Chad's side.

Ice enchantment extended the short blades in her hands into long swords. Her left blade severed Chad's vine arm, then she lowered herself and used her right blade to cut off his root-like feet.

She spun around, gathered force, and slashed behind her. A massive ice blade skimmed the icy wall, scattering ice chips and stone fragments as it cleaved toward the Mad Axe Gang members appearing at the other end of the corridor.

Her next strike drew a streak of blade light that cut off Chad's head.

Finally, she added two crossing ice blades for the Mad Axe Gang members at the far end of the corridor.

The three ice blades pushed forward through the narrow corridor from nearly every angle. The charging Mad Axe Gang members had nowhere to evade and were crushed through one after another.

Screams erupted everywhere, and severed limbs littered the ground.

Blood quickly froze into icy spikes in all manner of splattered shapes.

After killing Chad, Luke advanced down the corridor. More Mad Axe Gang members had arrived ahead after hearing the sounds of battle.

These people who had spent their lives on the edge of a blade were all ferocious. Seeing the invading Elf kill Chad and so many others, they still roared and charged forward with weapons raised.

Behind them was a staircase leading to the castle's second floor, the only route to Jumu's bedroom.

Luke charged back toward the crowd of Mad Axe Gang members.

She released the twin blades in her hands, and they became Ice Wheels that whirled around her, rising and falling through the air.

Then she took a broad-headed chopper from her backpack.
