Two employees walked along carrying documents as they chatted. "I can't believe you can still see an antique car like that these days. That one... uh, what was it called again?"
"Porsche 356A!" The other employee knew it well. Thinking of the car downstairs, he said enviously, "It was so well maintained—shiny as new... Too bad the owner looked kind of scary, or I'd have gone over to take a picture with it."
Conan was startled when he heard that—he remembered Haibara Ai mentioning that although Gin occasionally drove other cars, his favorite was a black Porsche 356A!
The two employees were still talking when they suddenly saw a child rush over and ask, "What color was that car? Where did you see it just now?!"
The employees froze for a moment, then instinctively answered, "Black. It was parked right in front of the building."
Conan: "..." Black...
Porsche 356As were already exceedingly rare on the roads. Let alone one that happened to be black.

Gritting his teeth as he thought, Conan rushed past the two bewildered employees and into the elevator.
The elevator sped downward. Conan pressed himself tightly against the transparent curtain wall and peered down as hard as he could.
Soon, he spotted a black car roof across the street—the black Porsche 356A was quietly parked by the roadside.
But just as the elevator was about to reach the bottom, the car suddenly started and drove away.
