But just as he squeezed through the chaotic crowd of onlookers, before he could catch up to Officer Kenmochi, someone suddenly grabbed his hand from beside him.
As soon as he turned around, he saw Sakuragi Ruriko pulling him toward the classroom. "It's time for class. Go to class first and leave the rest to the police—we're students, after all. Studying is our main job."

He glanced at Jiang Xia, who had likewise been held back, then turned to look at Hattori Heiji.
To his surprise, Hattori Heiji had not gone after the police. Instead, he stood there somewhat dazed, head lowered as though lost in thought.
"...Hattori?" Mouri Ran and Suzuki Sonoko noticed something was off too, and nudged him.
Hattori Heiji snapped back to his senses, answered vaguely, and walked out of the classroom.
The Dungeon actually made them attend class for an entire day.
Fortunately, under Jiang Xia's increasingly impatient stare, time sped by rapidly.
School was finally over.
