President Shiraki asked Ozaki Midori in a low voice, "I heard you received a pointless threatening letter?"
Ozaki Midori nodded awkwardly. "...Yes."
Okano Rika laughed and looked at Shiraki Daisuke. "Such a tiny matter actually reached you? You're taking it far too seriously—I've said it many times. Someone was just jealous of my talent and achievements, so they sent that sort of thing."
"Exactly. That's what I think too."
President Shiraki nodded in deep agreement and looked at Okano Rika. "It's good that you understand. In any case, don't let something so trivial delay tonight's Evening Banquet—I went to considerable trouble to have so many Celebrities invited, not so you could stand them up."
"Do you really need to tell me that?" Okano Rika frowned. "This is an Evening Banquet being held for me. Of course I'll make sure it goes on as planned."
