Mouri Ran had just followed Jiang Xia around the shopping district. They hadn't seen Hiroshi Hirokawa, but she had accidentally picked up the Video Camera the Detective Boys had dropped in fright.
Although the Video Camera had taken a fall, it hadn't landed from very high up, and its quality was good. When they turned it on, it could still play back properly.

Mouri Ran leaned in beside him and glanced at the shaking footage a few times, nearly making herself dizzy. Dr. Araide, on the other hand, kept his eyes fixed on the tiny screen. Mouri Ran had no idea whether he understood what he was seeing, but one thing was certain—Jiang Xia did.
"Go to this Abandoned Building."
Jiang Xia paused at a certain point, identified the roads before and after it, and quickly ran toward the destination.

"Hold this for now." Jiang Xia stuffed the Video Camera into Mouri Ran's hands. "Go around to the front and warn the construction workers. There are children in the Abandoned Building—no matter what, make sure they stop the demolition."
"Okay!" Mouri Ran nodded instinctively. She had even prepared herself to tackle the Crane pilot. Only two seconds later did she realize something was off. "Aren't you coming?"
