Jiang Xia looked at the familiar hospital on the screen and turned off the television. Interviewing him wouldn't have been a big deal, at most he'd have had to put some effort into making things up... Natsumi Kousaka looked at Jiang Xia's bandage-wrapped arm, apology in her eyes. "You came to my home as guests, yet you got dragged into something like this."
Jiang Xia froze, then a beat later remembered the "Memory Egg." "Right, that 'Memory Egg'..." ...He'd originally planned to ask for it back using something in line with Gin's literary tastes, like, "A treasure lost by a dynasty should remain with the princess lost by that dynasty."
