Besides what Curacao had mentioned, Rum actually had other information regarding this case.
For instance, the councilman's secretary had secretly contacted the media, hoping they would publish unfavorable news about Jiang Xia and distract the Great Detective.
Rum had originally intended to do them a favor, only to discover that none of those reports had made it out. Someone else had actually been suppressing news about this Great Detective, and the forces involved were a messy hodgepodge—people from every field, even colleagues from the Organization.
Rum scanned the chaotic list and found no useful intelligence in it. Uzo's network of connections would be perfectly clear after a look through his clients' Guestbook. So Rum quickly tossed the information aside and paid it no further attention.
"This child is deeply fated with the Organization. I hope he grows up quickly and unleashes his true power soon. That will be the day those lofty 'important figures' begin to tremble."
Rum gave a low, sinister laugh, cunning gleaming in his single eye under the dim light. "Just thinking about it is exciting. Once he enters university, we can arrange for some important figure to be rescued by him, take him in as an adopted son, and bring Uzo into the circles he cannot easily reach
