He quietly turned to glance at Kurosawa Kazuma, then nodded and followed him toward the room without betraying anything.

After the two of them passed by,

in another guest room along the way,

a figure hidden behind the door opened the door crack and stared in the direction they had gone for several seconds before silently closing the door again.

At the door to Room 315, Kurosawa Kazuma swiped a Room Card that was about to expire and unlocked the door, just about to enter.

But Hashimoto Maya patted him. "Inozuka's taking too long. I'll go get the new card first, then we can all look at it together."

Kurosawa Kazuma gave an "Oh," not thinking much of it. He took the bento Hashimoto Maya handed him, gave him the Room Card, and entered the room alone.

The instant the door closed, Hashimoto Maya turned and headed for the stairs on the other side.

—That Kurosawa guy should just take his pictures. Why was he solving cases when he had nothing better to do?!
