Amuro Tooru looked over the email from Irish, his expression thoughtful.
Irish's personality was somewhat unruly—in other words, he was rather high-profile. But recently, he had become low-profile, to the point that some people had begun guessing whether he had fallen victim to Uzo.
Amuro Tooru had thought this man would have to lie low for quite a while longer, but he hadn't expected Irish to seem as if he had encountered some kind of opportunity, suddenly pulling himself together again, with even a faint hint of overconfidence.
"'Something to discuss.'" Amuro Tooru repeated the keywords in the email, lost in thought. "What could it be?"
He still remembered how, not long ago, that guy Irish had wanted to form an alliance with him. And that time, the two of them had nearly burned to death in a warehouse, then after escaping, they had been blocked by the police in the river for an entire afternoon.
Just thinking about that experience made his nose itch and made him want to sneeze. And Amuro Tooru firmly believed that nothing had gone wrong on his end, so there was only one truth—Ireland was definitely being watched very closely by Uzo, every move under his opponent's control... and even like that, he still dared to seek alliances. He was simply a menace to others.
As a victim, Amuro Tooru very much wanted to delete the email right then, curse him out, block him, and be done with the whole process in one clean sweep.
But very regrettably, as an undercover agent doing his utmost to search for Organization intelligence, his duty and reason pressed down on his hand, forcing him to put the option of "continuing contact with Irish" on the table.
"Meeting him is too risky." Amuro Tooru chose a compromise. "I'll
