Jiang Xia walked up to the bathtub and glanced inside.
A shallow layer of water covered the bottom of the bathtub. The young woman sitting inside had been soaked from the bottom of her clothes upward, but her upper body, which was farther from the surface of the water, showed no traces of splashing, as if she had not struggled in the bathtub before she died.
