Suzuki Sonoko remembered something. "Didn't they say the road had collapsed, so there was no way to get in?"
"The road toward Tokyo really did collapse in one section." Yamamura Misao proudly thumped his chest. "But the road leading to our side was fine! There was some subsidence too, but it was minor and got repaired quickly."
After answering her question, Yamamura Misao turned to Jiang Xia, looking as excited as a star chaser. "What kind of mystery are we dealing with this time? What method did the culprit use? And the murder weapon? The murder weapon must be something special, right?"
Jodie thought of Inspector Megure, then looked at the man before her and found herself speechless. What a rare police officer who didn't look forward to suicides.
Jodie: "..." Come to think of it, why had someone suddenly died before all the suspects had even gathered?
