Gin looked at the email and fell silent for a moment.
Gin: "..." A threat?
He snorted and viciously pressed the button, exiting the Mailbox. Did Uzo think this sort of threat would work? He dared meddle in everything, even letting a brat who had yet to join the organization barge into the mission site and cause trouble... As far as Gin was concerned, he ought to nip this promising seed in the bud and teach Uzo a lesson—let him know that not everything would go according to his wishes.
Still...
Gin glanced at the Locker. Thinking of how this brat, not even seven years old, had repeatedly set Akai Shuichi up and could even contend with Vodka, he suddenly found it a little regrettable to kill him.
Then again, the malignant seed in the Locker could be killed anytime. Rather than that, he should first eliminate the danger on Uzo's end... But where were he and those three armed robbers now?
Just as he was thinking about it, the Walkie-talkie in Vodka's hand suddenly crackled to life. A subordinate reported in surprise, "Mr. Vodka, someone has entered the station! They've already passed the 1st floor and are heading underground."
Vodka was startled and could not help swearing, "This is what you meant by not even flies being able to get in?!"
The subordinate hurriedly explained, "Yamamoto was guarding the main entrance. When I passed by during my patrol just now, I found that he'd actually fallen asleep..."
"Idiot." Gin knew what had happened as soon as he heard it. He gestured for Vodka to end the communication, then left behind a curt, "Watch this," before turning and walking out of the Storage Room.
Holding the Walkie-talkie, Vodka watched Brother Gin's retreating figure stride away and could not help freezing.
