Still somewhat baffled, Conan then heard a voice drift over from beside him. Jiang Xia examined the alarm clock in his hand and lowered his head to ask, "What was that about a bomb just now? And why were you running yesterday? You looked pretty guilty. Did you know Mr. Itakura, the man who died?"

A beat too late, he realized that aside from Gin and Vodka, there was another troublesome person standing before him—fortunately, troublesome in an entirely different sense.
Looking at this neighbor, who was utterly unlike those two lawless maniacs from earlier, Conan relaxed somewhat. Both relieved and guilty, he changed the subject.
