Amuro Tooru floated in the lake, staring at Jiang Xia on the shore like a water ghost. Coffee-flavored killing intent sizzled off him in endless waves.
It was not that he wanted to kill Jiang Xia. Ever since discovering that the Jiang Xia Box had gone missing, he had racked his brains searching for it and suffered through so much along the way. Yet after all that effort, he turned around and found the person involved standing perfectly fine on the shore. He even looked like he had slept well and was now full of energy.
...Whenever Amuro Tooru thought of whoever had directed this whole scene, the corner of his eye twitched, and he wanted nothing more than to pin the culprit down and punch him dozens of times.
Taking a deep breath, he did not let Jiang Xia pull him up. He hooked both hands over the edge of the lake and hauled his dripping body ashore with a splash.

Jiang Xia actually sighed at that. He looked as though he had been through a great deal too. With a click, he lit a Ghost Mint cigarette, held it in his mouth, and said in a world-weary tone, "I came to meet a client, but I went to bed late yesterday and accidentally fell asleep while waiting. When I woke up, I found that some outlaw had picked me up and taken me away."
"..." Amuro Tooru initially had a stern expression, but halfway through, he could not help feeling a little guilty, his gaze drifting away. In the end, Uzo bore full responsibility for what had happened
