Haga Kyosuke heard the suspicion in his voice and was briefly at a loss for words. "I didn't take it. It's still on the island."
Doctor Kyogoku nodded knowingly. "Mr. Haga, based on what happened today, I suggest you undergo treatment for a while. I really like your compositions—they're mysterious and full of spirit. I truly don't want to see them become your final works."
"..." Haga Kyosuke did not know how to argue with him. After thinking for a moment, he picked up his phone and called Hashimoto Maya.
On Theater Island.
Hashimoto Maya was carefully inspecting the old theater, guarding against Haga Kyosuke planting anything here. While that kid probably did not have the nerve to blow up Lord Uzo's island, it was still possible that he had set up some little traps. As the Island Owner, Hashimoto could not let a single mechanism escape his sight.
Just as he finished one round of inspection, his phone suddenly rang.
Hashimoto Maya glanced at the caller ID and was surprised to find that it was Haga Kyosuke, who had only just left.
He answered the call and heard the person on the other end ask, "Mr. Hashimoto, could you take a photo of the Violin on top of the theater piano and send it to me?"
Hashimoto Maya instinctively looked toward the piano, and his pupils contracted slightly. There was no Violin there at all—only an empty piano!
Strange... he muttered inwardly. I thought it was the instrument Haga Kyosuke brought. I even inspected it carefully just now... But in the time it took him to turn around, how had the Violin vanished?
There really was someone else on the island!
Even that cockroach-like overachiever, who seemed capable of getting through any crack, had been stopped by him.
