After taking care of his own business, Jiang Xia put on the Cat persona again that night and drove Cat to the café.

Okiya Subaru was still in the corner on the café's second floor. A laptop sat in front of him as he meticulously managed his time, switching back and forth between work and his thesis.

Late at night, after the lights in Mian Guan Yi Yi's house went out, Okiya Subaru did not leave immediately. He kept watch for a while longer. Only after confirming that no one came out and nothing unusual happened did he yawn, carefully save his thesis, and return to the hotel he had booked earlier.

Then he discovered that, until the mission was over, Okiya Subaru seemed determined to put down roots in the area, with no intention of leaving at all.

If Jiang Xia kept watching him, his efficiency might become very low.

So, while Okiya Subaru was distracted, Jiang Xia tossed a Transmitter onto him. Then he returned to his real body and began handling his own affairs.

On the second day after Okiya Subaru received the "mission tutorial," he had accumulated enough knowledge from the day before to gain a rough understanding of the surrounding terrain and situation.

He recalled Uzo's
