Big Brother, I Haven't Been Contaminated by Uzo! Please Vote (〃)
After thinking it over carefully, Vodka felt that since Uzo had openly called him out to carry out a mission, Uzo probably would not set any certain-death traps during their time as partners.
—Because murdering an innocent executive for no reason would inevitably draw the Organization's attention.
With other people, their deaths might be so baffling that even the Organization would have trouble determining whether they had died at Uzo's hands or due to some mistake of their own.
But Vodka believed he would never be like that.
—Given his vigilance and his understanding of Uzo, at the very least, he could send the Organization a message about his death before Uzo struck. Uzo probably understood that too.
Vodka: "..." So under these circumstances, even if Uzo was willing to risk anything for his twisted "art," the Organization's investigation afterward would at least seriously interfere with Uzo's future actions and cause trouble for his entertainment.
Uzo was a smart man. He definitely knew that "murdering Vodka while they were partnered up" was not cost-effective. So at most, he would set up a few frightening but solvable traps like he had today, just to amuse himself.
In other words, Vodka felt that while working with Uzo, he could encounter Uzo's traps without being easily targeted for death—just like developing antibodies, he could slowly figure out Uzo's patterns and eventually become immune to all things Uzo...
—In short, this was a perfect opportunity to grind experience.
Vodka nodded to himself.
Decided! I'll make Mr. Yamada's ID as soon as I get back.
After that, if Uzo invited him to this sort of gathering again, he would consider it with proper reserve...
Lost in thought, Vodka had already walked far away.
