Forced into a dream by Uchiha Nara's secret technique, Uchiha Yue tried to control the power of the New World and use it to shatter the dream before him. Unfortunately, the outcome was exactly what Uchiha Yue had anticipated: no matter how hard he tried, he could not use any of his original power. In fact, within this dream world, Uchiha Yue was truly as helpless as an ordinary infant. Forget a ninja—even an ordinary adult could kill the current Uchiha Yue.
Moreover, being an infant did not merely mean that Uchiha Yue could die easily. Many of his bodily organs had yet to fully develop, so after doing nothing more than spacing out for a while, drowsiness washed over him. Though he tried to force himself to stay awake, he eventually drifted off to sleep.
When he woke again, his mouth instinctively latched onto something soft, sucking the liquid from it. The corner of Uchiha Yue's eye twitched violently. He suddenly realized that even though he had once been the ruler of the New World and had possessed excellent control over his state of mind, he was still somewhat at a loss when faced with a dream that had turned him back into an infant.
However, perhaps because his stomach was full, Uchiha Yue found that his thoughts became much clearer after eating. Thus, he immediately sank into contemplation, pondering what sort of secret technique his father Uchiha Nara's ability to enter and control dreams truly was. Why was his father Uchiha Nara proficient in such a technique while he himself knew nothing about it?
