Within Uchiha Yue's Purple Eye perception range, there were four Kirigakure ninja ahead—exactly matching the number on Uchiha Yue's side. That meant Uchiha Yue and the three members of his "Moon" squad only needed each to take down one Kirigakure ninja to resolve the battle before them perfectly.

Among them, the primary task of Uchiha Dust and the other three "Moon" squad members was to kill the three Kirigakure ninja before them. Uchiha Yue, meanwhile, intended to capture the strongest of those Kirigakure ninja in order to obtain intelligence on why they had entered the Land of Fire, then invade the man's mental space to acquire the information he needed.

Then, after Uchiha Yue issued his orders to the three members of his "Moon" squad, Uchiha Dust and the others grew exceptionally excited. Clearly, they had had enough of the dull monotony of traveling. Only a satisfying battle could make the three "Moon" squad members feel fired up again, and the Kirigakure ninja before them were plainly there to relieve the tedium of their journey.
