Ever since Uchiha Yue realized the gap in strength between himself and Hatake Dansui, he began to contemplate ways to improve his own capabilities.

At this stage, aside from a certain advantage in chakra reserves and the insight provided by his spiritual energy, Uchiha Yue possessed almost no means or skills for combat. After bidding farewell to his classmates at the Ninja Academy alongside Uchiha Obito, Uchiha Yue prepared to part ways with him once they returned to the clan grounds.

Upon hearing Uchiha Yue's words, Uchiha Obito nodded with joy, and they agreed to train together at the training grounds the next day.

After parting ways with Uchiha Obito, Uchiha Yue returned home and asked his father, Uchiha Nara, for some scrolls on basic ninjutsu.

Uchiha Nara did not disappoint him. In less than twenty minutes, he had gathered the basic ninjutsu scrolls and handed them all to Uchiha Yue. Uchiha Yue then had a servant carry these scrolls to his room and began to study the ninjutsu he aimed to master within three days: the Three Body Techniques.

The Three Body Techniques is the collective term for the basic ninjutsu: Clone Technique, Transformation Technique, and Substitution Technique.

Among them, the importance of practicing the Substitution Technique went without saying; after all, in the original story, even jonin could potentially use the Substitution Technique multiple times in battle. Therefore, Uchiha Yue decided to make the Substitution Technique the focus of his training, while the other basic techniques like the Clone Technique and Transformation Technique only needed to be mastered preliminarily, with no need for deep study.

However, once Uchiha Yue truly finished reading the scrolls regarding the Three Body Techniques, he suddenly realized there was a flaw in his thinking.

It was true that the Three Body Techniques were indeed the most basic ninjutsu in the original story, and the three techniques that every genin had to master.

But after reading through those scrolls, Uchiha Yue realized that the Three Body Techniques were not as simple as he had imagined; on the contrary, they were quite difficult to master. More precisely, mastering the Three Body Techniques was the foundation for mastering all other ninjutsu. As long as one could skillfully master these three, practicing other ninjutsu would yield twice the result with half the effort.

Moreover, what surprised Uchiha Yue even more was that the most difficult of the three to master was not the Substitution Technique!

The difficulty of the Transformation Technique and the Clone Technique actually surpassed that of the Substitution Technique!

As the foundation for all ninjutsu, the Substitution Technique could be successfully performed simply through hand seals and activation. Whether it was used skillfully depended mainly on the timing of the practitioner. However, the Transformation and Clone Techniques were different. To master them, one not only needed hand seals and activation, but also had to distribute chakra precisely to form a clone or transform into the desired object while maintaining the technique.

There were two factors that made them difficult to master: first, the chakra distributed when performing the Clone Technique had to be sufficiently precise; second, the chakra used to maintain the Transformation Technique had to be stable.

Do not underestimate the advantage of Uchiha Yue being able to omit the hand seal steps for the Three Body Techniques!

One must know that even some chunin might not be able to save on hand seal steps when using these techniques.

After all, to omit the hand seal steps for a ninjutsu, one must first let the body memorize the trajectory of chakra flow during the seals and possess a proficient mastery of the technique's application.

Originally, it would have been very difficult for Uchiha Yue to omit the hand seal steps, but who told him to possess the bloodline of Uchiha Madara?

Among the ninjutsu scrolls his father, Uchiha Nara, had given him, Uchiha Yue clearly saw scrolls written by Uchiha Madara himself, which included methods for omitting the hand seal steps of the Three Body Techniques.
