Chapter Summaries

Naruto and Sasuke fought a suddenly empowered Kaguya until Hinata’s attack injured her at the cost of Hinata’s health and cultivation. As Naruto and Sasuke kept Kaguya occupied while she recovered, Kakashi and Obito waited for a chance to strike.

• Kaguya attacked Naruto and Sasuke with overwhelming brute force, and Hinata pulled them clear before striking Kaguya with Eighty Gods Vacuum Attack.
• Hinata suffered severe injuries and lost cultivation, while Naruto carried her to the White Eye Space and promised they would marry after he defeated Kaguya.
• Naruto returned to join Sasuke against the injured Kaguya, whose diminished strength and speed let them keep pace with her.

• Tsunade, Jiraiya, and the Third Hokage saw Naruto and the others succeed, but Orochimaru refused the Third Hokage’s invitation to return to Konoha and left.
• Kaguya told Naruto and Sasuke she would fulfill her mission, then rejected her father’s request to return to the Ōtsutsuki Clan and departed for the Divine Realm.

Dark Naruto and Good Naruto unleashed a flood of emotion-filled black chakra that spread across the Shinobi World, driving people mad. Naruto and Sasuke absorbed most of it with their dragon sources, and Naruto chose to absorb the remaining chakra himself despite the risk that the two would take control of him.

• Dark Naruto and Good Naruto confronted Naruto, Tsunade, and Orochimaru, and Good Naruto revealed that he had once deflected Orochimaru’s sword attack.
• Dark Naruto and Good Naruto dissolved into black chakra that swept across the Shinobi World and drove unprotected people into madness.
• Naruto and Sasuke used Dragon Transformation to absorb most of the black chakra, but they could not absorb the final ten li.
• Naruto refused Sasuke’s suggestion to seal the remaining chakra and decided to absorb it into himself, telling Sasuke to kill him if the darkness took control.

Naruto absorbed the dark chakra of two other Narutos and nearly died as their power overwhelmed him. After Sasuke transplanted Madara Uchiha’s Rinnegan into Naruto to stabilize his chakra, Hinata used her Tenseigan to merge the three Naruto souls, leaving Naruto to face the other two within himself.
