Final Day (IV)

Shadow Umbrella had originally been one of Lu Li's early weapons. After being progressively modified beyond recognition, it had become a top-tier magical weapon. Though it was no longer of much use to Lu Li, to humanity, it was among the finest things imaginable.

In particular, the umbrella contained the principles of Gresta, the Shadow Lord. For humans, once they accepted those principles, they could immediately become powerful even among humanity.

With this umbrella, one could accomplish all kinds of incredible things. Though this one was merely an illusory object from the future, with the genuine article still inside that candle, Umbrella Man could still wield immense power through it.

A vast amount of Shadow Power formed tentacles that spread outward, creating a special shadow force field. Great quantities of energy gathered at the center of the umbrella. With the umbrella as its center, it released a shadow impact at intervals, intercepting every bullet and energy beam fired at it. Anything not of the shadow attribute was repelled.

After each impact came a powerful pull from the shadows, devouring the surrounding matter and energy. Things with shadow attributes were absorbed in an instant.

This created a relatively absolute domain. Nothing that did not belong to shadow could approach, while anything belonging to shadow could not resist the umbrella's absorption at all. Everything in the world had its own shadow, and the umbrella's shadow force field took advantage of this rule.

Only power greater than the umbrella's, or a constant appearance of things in quantities exceeding what the umbrella could process, could possibly break through its shadow force field. Of course, if a stronger shadow source existed within the domain, the umbrella would instead suffer from it.
