The moment Isobu's huge belly came crashing down, Qi had already hurried out of the mirror dimension. Now, looking at the Tailed Beast whose face was covered in shell, he found the whole thing utterly incomprehensible.

What was this supposed to be? Had that masked man gone crazy? He had the advantage, yet he wasn't using it? He wanted to compete with Qi using Tailed Beasts?

The young woman's voice was overflowing with every kind of negative emotion.

That voice was all too familiar. Qi turned around and, sure enough, it was that girl Terumi Mei!

"What are you doing here?"

He immediately frowned, wearing an expression that plainly said, You really are an irresponsible child.

"What kind of look is that? Are you looking down on me?"

Terumi Mei honestly felt that Qi was even more detestable than the guy standing on top of the Three-Tails.

"Then why did you come here? To get in the way?"

Qi barely squeezed out a snort through his nose and waved at Terumi Mei.

"Don't make trouble for me. Go cool off somewhere else. That's a Tailed Beast."

This woman really knew how to make things difficult. With so many Mist Ninja watching, the difficulty of taking the Three-Tails away had suddenly soared...

It seemed there really was a reason she had remained unmarried even when she was nearly thirty in the original story.
