"Qi, want a drink? Let's have a couple."
In the living room, Minato enthusiastically brought over some glasses, then seemingly pulled two bottles of liquor out of nowhere, as if by magic.
Though his words had been phrased as a question, his actions said otherwise. He had already poured Qi a glass and set the bottle of baijiu right beside him.
"..."
Speechless, Qi picked up his glass and clinked it against Minato's. Was Minato really worthy of being Naruto's father?
This was Minato's home. Unlike the Third Hokage, Minato did not live in the Hokage Building. Instead, like the other villagers, he lived in Konoha's residential district. Perhaps he was the Hokage in Konoha's history who had been closest to the villagers.
Minato's home was in an apartment building, with four bedrooms and a living room. The living room included a kitchen separated off by partitions. Sitting there, Qi could clearly hear Kushina cooking in the kitchen.
"Our family is truly grateful to you."
After taking a sip, Minato wore a contented expression.
"If you hadn't been there back then, Kushina would definitely have died. And I probably would have died too. If that had happened, Naruto would have suffered."
Qi recalled the Uzumaki Naruto from the original work and nodded in deep agreement.
But at the same time, he thought of the current Naruto and immediately felt a headache coming on.
Naruto clearly did not count as some spoiled rich brat. Qi's eye for such things was now quite sharp; for someone his age, the "quality" of Naruto's chakra was remarkably good. That sort of quality had to be trained through one's own efforts. But his mischievous streak was probably even greater than it had been in the original work...
Come to think of it, could that *Intimate
