"Chief, look at the patterns on the wooden armor."
Surrounded by his clansmen, Kurama Kazuhiko raised his head and studied the armor of the demon god before him with undisguised admiration.
Due to the unique nature of their clan's bloodline limit, many of its members had mastered arts connected to the senses.
Stroking his beard, he exclaimed, "It rivals nature's own handiwork."
"Chakra itself is filled with limitless possibilities," a cool voice suddenly said.
The Kurama Clan members hurriedly greeted the white-haired man who had appeared out of nowhere with respect. "Lord Tobirama."
Tobirama Senju waved a hand, telling them not to mind him. He stared directly into Kazuhiko's eyes and said, word by word, "An immense fortune is waiting for you to seize."
Kazuhiko stroked his goatee and met those crimson pupils, his voice low. "Since it is right before us, I ask that Minister Tobirama enlighten me. Being first is of utmost importance."
"Gather every member of the Kurama Clan skilled at painting at once." Tobirama did not waste words as he handed over the earlier painting. "How much do you think a painting like this is worth under these circumstances?"
Kazuhiko studied the familiar brushwork in the painting and immediately recognized it as his youngest daughter's work. "One hundred thousand ryo."
The gathered clansmen heard their conversation, and many were stunned by the figure. They unconsciously held their breath, scarcely daring to breathe.
Rather than naming a figure outright, Tobirama asked, "How much paper do we have?"
Kazuhiko swept his gaze across the clan members proficient in painting. The ones he looked at immediately reported the quantity of scrolls in stock.
"About a thousand sheets," came the answer after the calculation was complete.
"That makes one hundred million ryo!"
An uncontrollable gasp rang out from the crowd.
