"Blech!" Borton sprawled by the riverbank and, under Twenty-Nine's pounding, vomited up a mouthful of river water.
A long-toothed fish still hung from his leg, having bitten his calf into a bloody mess. Twenty-Nine merely glanced at it, pinched its gills, and easily pulled it off.
"Didn't you say the fish in the river wouldn't bite people when it rained?!" Borton accused bitterly.
"If I hadn't said that, you wouldn't have dared jump in."
"You were the one who kicked me into the river! And can the Black Knight Order get any more treacherous? The master was a scammer, and the disciple was even worse!" Marquis Borton raged.
"You were lucky. Old Eleven didn't kill you outright only because Her Highness the Fifth Princess wasn't dead yet. Otherwise, you'd already be a corpse," Twenty-Nine said indifferently. "Let me check you."
As he spoke, he pressed Borton's chest a few times. "Two broken ribs. Nothing serious."

"Whether you're okay isn't important. Check whether your phone is okay first," Twenty-Nine said. "Bear with the pain and call the Fifth Princess now. First, tell her the royal family is preparing to get rid of her and make sure she's ready.
