A dense mass of airships descended to the ground. The entire airfield's indicator lights shone as brilliantly as stars in the Milky Way, circling and spiraling. Vast numbers of Silver City soldiers gathered to direct docking, refuel the vessels, and inspect their hulls.

The fleet had entered the blast radius of a nuclear explosion, and every airship had developed all manner of minor issues.

But compared to the person inside the Sealed Elevator, none of those costs were worth mentioning.

Old Two stood inside an airship, personally supervising the gene soldiers as they moved the elevator. Only after it had been loaded into an armored vehicle and the other Black Knights had all assembled did he finally let out a sigh of relief. The long convoy drove out of the airfield, police cars clearing the way while armed helicopters followed overhead, creating an imposing spectacle.
