Background / History

Evil Soul Masters are responsible for the death of Lin Qingzhou's parents, leaving him orphaned and the owner of their villa and assets. 1

Feng Qingyun was historically branded an Evil Soul Master despite becoming the continent's strongest. His recorded goal was to slaughter an empire in an attempt to resurrect his beloved, Lan Ling'er. He failed to ascend to godhood and left behind the Heaven-Swallowing Demonic Art, a sacrificial technique capable of acquiring or improving another person's Martial Soul talent and Innate Soul Power. 3

An unnamed leader later organized an operation in Proud Arrival City/Aolai City to locate Feng Qingyun's cultivation technique. The plan called for activating an ancient formation, trapping Feng Qingyun, and massacring the city; the group was authorized to use Level 9 Fixed Soul-Guided Cannonballs. 6 7

Evil Soul Masters do not share a single documented appearance, but those active in Proud Arrival City commonly concealed themselves in black cloaks and displayed visibly sinister soul-power manifestations.
