"What... what is that?"

Li Ran's eyes widened as he stared in disbelief at a monster that had appeared within a suspended abyss ahead.

It was a headless, twisted gigantic skeleton, vaguely humanoid yet not human. The lines across its bones emitted an intensely dazzling radiance, while countless glowing tendrils extended around its body.

Li Ran had seen his fair share of things on the Dark Sea, yet he had never encountered a creature like this.

It looked alive, yet Li Ran felt that it was dead.

"It's called the Fruit Farmer," Lilith said.

The elevator platform slowly descended through this suspended abyssal layer. Even at such close range, the strange life-form still left Li Ran deeply shocked.

Seeing his bewildered expression, Lilith said, "The Fruit Farmer as in the one who tends fruit trees. But it has another name—the Dimension Editor."

Lilith nodded. "Ordinary human eyes can only see objects that obstruct light. We see objects because they block light, while things beyond optics cannot be seen with the naked eye. The Fruit Farmer is an existence that cannot normally be seen with our eyes. The reason we can see it now is because it has entered a dormant state."

Li Ran seemed not to understand and asked curiously, "If creatures like this can't be seen with the naked eye, wouldn't it be effortless for them to kill us?"

"Its existence isn't dangerous," Lilith said. "Once you reach a certain realm, you'll discover the Fruit Farmer's existence. You'll also discover this world's true nature and the meaning of life."
