When Fran came back to her senses, she saw a shocking sight.

The red ring clenched in her hand shone with a dazzling light, and that light held her suspended in midair.

The ground where she had been standing had vanished without a trace. Beneath her feet seemed to be a spherical crater. Since it had not yet been filled in, she could see its curved surface.

And directly beneath her was a huge pool of dazzling liquid. Its surface was utterly calm, but Fran could feel its temperature from the rising heat.
