So the moment she heard that rebuke, she rushed out the door, ready to leap straight onto the wall and escape.
But when she looked up, she saw that black mist had filled the sky and was slowly pressing down from above. Not a trace of daylight remained visible.
'Lai' finally understood why this place had no roof. It had been deliberately left open to accommodate the defenses.
Left with no other choice, 'Lai' sprinted toward one of the walls, a red glow beginning to spread over her body. These walls were nothing special. As long as she coated herself in Sunflame, she could easily pass straight through them.
Just as she was about to do so, however, a humanoid spirit formed from black mist suddenly appeared before her. It thrust out an arm trailing black mist, seemingly about to attack.
'Lai' had originally intended to rely on the Sunflame covering her body and charge straight through the mass of black mist.
But as the black mist spilled into the air and sprayed over the nearby demon materials, those materials instantly shriveled.
That made her realize there was something seriously wrong with this mist. These were First Order demon materials, after all. How could a casual spray of black mist leave them shriveled like that?
She immediately turned and leaped over a large pile of demon materials, changing direction. In moments, she was almost at the wall.
"Stop!!!" The piercing cry shook everything around it, making the entire wall shudder three times.
This can't be a First Order opponent. Even a Second Order opponent would fall short... 'Lai's' pupils contracted. Was this still
