Fang Yu seemed to have lost her memory again.
Chen Ge helped her onto the bed and poured her a glass of water. "Fang Yu and I are good friends. He's had something come up recently, but he'll come see you in a few days."
Lying on the bed, Fang Yu silently watched Chen Ge. She didn't know why, but she trusted this man in front of her. He didn't seem to be lying to her.
"Get some good rest and take care of yourself. Fang Yu will be back soon."
Her body had been subjected to intense stimulation, and once she calmed down, she felt especially tired. Fang Yu soon fell asleep.
Chen Ge turned off the light and quietly left the bedroom. Fat Aunt was waiting outside.
"Is Xiao Yu feeling better? I heard her talking just now, and she sounded really upset. Did you really find that person?"
"Yeah, I found him."
"Tell me where he is." Fat Aunt looked ready to stand up for Fang Yu. "He's a grown man, and he abandoned Xiao Yu just because she lost her memory. Let's go over there right now. I'm going to teach him a lesson!"
"That man has his own difficulties. He's suffered no less than Fang Yu." Chen Ge smiled. "Ma'am, thank you for taking care of Fang Yu all this time. I'll come back in a while, and maybe by then I'll be able to cure her."
"Cure her memory loss?"
"That's right." Chen Ge put the Comic Album into his Backpack. "I won't keep you any longer. See you."
"Hey! Explain yourself! It's still raining! Take the umbrella!"
With his bag in hand, Chen Ge walked out of the building. A light drizzle fell on him as he passed beneath the dim streetlights.
