"What are they after?" Zuo Han stared intently at the envelope.
"The back of Teacher Wang's letter says 'the first friend.' The letter I found in my employees' rooms says 'the seventh friend.' They consider my employees and Teacher Wang their friends, which means there must be something they have in common." Chen Ge analyzed the situation calmly. "Judging by the timing, I suspect they're choosing their targets based on the serial murders from twenty years ago. Teacher Wang solved that case and was the first to learn about the real killer. My employees got dragged into it because I've been investigating the case recently. They're among the last people connected to it."
