"I only know a little. Why are you asking?" The man gripped his white cane, trying to keep his distance from Chen Ge, but he was too weak to break free.

"My friend disappeared while watching a movie in the Projection Hall. I want to do the same thing he did and see if I can find anything." Chen Ge spoke casually. Standing quietly in the darkness, he surveyed the entire Projection Hall.

The rows of seats were uneven, like figures crouching or standing here and there.

"Are you crazy? You came here at two in the morning and want me to put on a movie for you?" Even without the terrifying rumors, the man couldn't imagine anyone normal going to a nearly abandoned cinema in the middle of the night to watch a movie like Chen Ge.

"I'm perfectly clearheaded, and I know what I'm doing." Chen Ge shone his phone's light on the equipment nearby. "If it's inconvenient for you, you can tell me how to operate it. I'll do it myself."

Chen Ge was eager to learn. Wherever he went, he picked up something new, and that was exactly how he had mastered so many "skills."

"Think carefully. What I told you earlier wasn't a story. It really happened." The man's eyelids twitched. He clearly understood his situation, so he set his cane aside and felt around on the table.

He moved very slowly. No one knew what he was thinking.

Chen Ge stood beside him, watching him the whole time. The longer he looked, the more he felt something was off about the man.

His hands were far too nimble. Even with his eyes closed, he knew exactly where every piece of equipment was.
