The Eyes They Traded

Chang Gu told Wen Yu a terrifying story. The doctor from earlier hadn't lied to her, but he had left out two crucial details.

First, the hospital had closed several weeks ago. No one knew exactly why.

What puzzled the residents nearby was that even after the hospital closed, they still saw people moving around inside every day, just as they had before, whether it was day or night.

Second, there was something wrong with the doctor himself. Unlike ordinary ghosts, he could move around in daylight and wasn't particularly afraid of sunlight.

Chang Gu didn't say exactly what the doctor was in the story. He only told Wen Yu that most people and things capable of making her Left Eye hurt came from Han Jiang Private University.

What the doctor had said about the Night School and General Campus was true. The only thing was, the way into the abandoned school wasn't to keep going deeper into Yongling Mountain.

Chang Gu seemed to be fleeing from someone. He hurried off after saying that, leaving only a phone number behind. He told her that if she wanted to find Han Jiang Private University, she could call it at night.

At that point in the movie, the image on the screen stuttered briefly. When it came back, it was completely dark in the scene.

"Did someone edit out a section? Or did someone in the movie not want me to see what happened in between?"

In the pitch darkness, Wen Yu carried her phone and her bag as she felt her way through an alley. She finally stopped at That Hospital, where she had been earlier that day.

She made a call, said just three short words, then immediately hung up. "I'm here."

More than ten minutes later, someone opened a
