He's Here (First Update)

"Chen Ge, are you sure you want to go to Xinhai?" Uncle Xu still seemed a little uneasy.

"Chairman Luo once told me that a person needs to keep the bigger picture in mind. I'm going to Xinhai this time to give Nightmare Academy a warning and to learn a little about the market." Chen Ge spoke earnestly. "It'll be fine. Don't worry."

Chen Ge opened the Haunted House's emergency exit and went inside with Zhang Jingjiu.

"Wait here for a bit. I'm going down to the underground scenes." Chen Ge returned most of the staff in his Backpack to the scenes, bringing only a small number of the harder-to-control ones with him, such as Red High Heels, the Headless Female Ghost, and Qiu Mei.

He wasn't doing it to get back at Nightmare Academy. He was simply worried that things might go wrong if these Red-Clothed ghosts stayed in the Haunted House while he was away.

Of course, to keep the balance of power, Chen Ge also brought Yan Danian, the others, and Xu Yin along.

"There's no way the Skull Crusher Hammer will get through security, so I won't bring it."

After taking out the Skull Crusher Hammer, his Backpack felt a lot lighter. Chen Ge wasn't used to it.

Back on the surface, Chen Ge and Zhang Jingjiu waited until the rest of the staff arrived. Only after they had finished putting on their makeup did they leave.

At eleven in the morning, Chen Ge and Zhang Jingjiu took a car to Xinhai City. The two cities weren't far apart, but the temperature had changed noticeably.

Xinhai was, on average, warmer than Han Jiang. Chen Ge wasn't quite sure why.

"Jingjiu, spend some time with your father. You're family." Chen Ge sent Zhang Jingjiu another red envelope.
