The middle-aged man seemed honest and simplehearted, and his wife didn't look like the sort of person who was good at lying, either.
They had been facing off in the corridor for a while, but Bai Buhui hadn't noticed that the middle-aged man and the woman had been standing outside the camera's view the whole time.
"Little Ghost, go get the camera." Bai Buhui sensed something was wrong and wanted to figure out what was going on.
"Why should I?" Little Ghost didn't know who Bai Buhui was and couldn't be bothered to pay him any attention.
"Don't argue. Let's all get along." Bald Security Guard Liu Guangming hefted the camera. "It's not broken. This thing's been working fine the whole time. The lights are still on."
"Working fine the whole time?" Bai Buhui took out his phone and opened Liu Kang's Livestream. There were so many comments that the stream had started lagging badly. He had to refresh it several times before he could see some of them.
The comments had already turned against them. Bai Buhui grew anxious. He motioned for the guard to point the camera elsewhere, then called Liu Kang.
"Do you remember the contract we signed? You promised our Paradise Park that nothing would go wrong. That's why we agreed to let you livestream the whole thing."
There was no response from the other end of the call, only the sound of panting and running.
"Liu Kang! Say something!" Bai Buhui was getting desperate. He wanted to use Liu Kang's livestream to expose the House of Horrors' new attraction from the inside and make it as unappealing as possible.
He knew all too well how much work went into creating a horror attraction. If the whole thing was exposed online, fewer people would be curious
