Background / History

Zhou Shen awakens within Taelan Fordring's body after merging with Taelan's memories. Accepting the identity of Taelan Fordring, he resolves to use the Nephalem power system to save Azeroth, protect the Fordring family, and avoid the original Taelan's descent into the Scarlet Crusade and eventual death. 3

His early plans center on Dalaran: gaining knowledge, meeting powerful figures such as Antonidas, Rhonin, and Jaina Proudmoore, and altering catastrophic futures to gain World Power. He trains toward becoming strong enough to defend Hearthglen when Tirion's eventual exile leaves the family vulnerable. 3
