After Lu Ran had comforted Ma Xiaotao,
his chest was soaked through. Ma Xiaotao's eyes were red as she sobbed, her hand tenderly resting against the damp spot on his chest,
and the scorching warmth radiating from her palm dried it.
The two of them hugged tightly once more.
Lu Ran gently stroked her smooth, fiery-red hair, quietly keeping her company without saying a word.

Lu Ran said,

If she left the Small World now, Ma Xiaotao would find herself in an underground cavern a thousand meters below the surface. Walking upward would bring her to Ice Empress's Ice Crystal Palace. All of that was hidden from her; Lu Ran couldn't let her find out.
Lu Ran appeared outside the Small World,
and suddenly saw tons of Ice Attribute spirit fruits, medicinal herbs, and spirit plants filling the cavern.
There were so many that they could practically pack the cavern full.
A bitter chill filled the cave. Even the hot spring water running down the walls had frozen, pooling together before being pushed forward by the fresh ice forming behind it.
Snow Maiden had no choice but to summon her Martial Soul to fend off the cold.
Ice Empress said, "Lu Ran, I prepared all of this for Xuexue. Can you
