The aftereffects of the Retinal Laser seemed to be rather severe.
After resting for three days, today was the first time the author had turned on the computer.
Yet only a few minutes after sitting down,
just as the author looked at the computer screen and prepared to start writing,
while staring at the screen before them, they suddenly felt a faint pain in their eyeballs and simply could not calm down enough to write.
After trying several times to adjust, they found that the longer they looked at the screen, the more their eyes hurt.
There was truly no other way.
The author decided to follow the doctor's orders and return to the hospital for a follow-up examination two weeks after the laser surgery.
Updates would resume once the follow-up was complete and the laser spots on the retina had fully formed.
Updates would probably resume around November 11.
The author sincerely apologized to everyone.
But please rest assured, the author would absolutely not abandon this novel!
If looking at the screen no longer caused pain, or if the pain became bearable, the author would also resume updates ahead of schedule.
