Development

The Light Blade originated from Ye Feng's basic manipulation of light-attribute soul power. Its initial Light-Gathering Blade form was an energy construct rather than a formal self-created soul skill; Ye Feng considered it a simple attack method achievable by elemental martial souls with sufficient control and mental power 10.

Dissatisfied with its poor efficiency and rapidly dissipating ranged attacks, Ye Feng developed the Light Particle Theory. He refined light soul power into dense particles, then condensed those particles into light filaments under Heart Separation Control 21.

After mastering ten stable filaments, Ye Feng used a double-helix structure to combine them into the Light Blade. The completed construct gained a near-solid metallic texture and became his strongest available trump card at the time 25.
