Obito's shout and the boar's roar erupted at the same time. Shizune was dragged by Rin as they rolled toward the tree trunk on the right, while Akimichi Todō's bag of chips traced an arc through the air toward the charging boar. The boar's hind hooves kicked up huge clumps of mud, its scarlet eyes locked onto Obito as he brandished a kunai.
"Fire Release: Flame Bullet!" The fireball Asuma spat out after forming hand seals grazed the boar's back and flew past. The scorched smell only drove the beast further into a frenzy. Obito seized the chance to leap onto a branch, but his trembling arm caused his kunai to stab into the mud-caked hide on the boar's rear. "You stupid pig, look over here!" Guy suddenly charged out from the flank, his roundhouse kick slamming hard into the base of a tusk. The tremendous force knocked the boar's head sideways, and its tusk scraped Guy's shin guard, throwing off blinding sparks.
"Its belly!" Shika's warning mixed with the thunderous crash of falling trees. The boar smashed through a birch tree as thick as a bowl, then turned around. Shika's Shadow Possession Jutsu had only just taken shape when the boar ran out of its range. At the critical moment, Asuma charged over without regard for his own safety and kicked the boar in the head, staggering it while the powerful recoil knocked him to the ground.
"Partial Multi-Size Technique!" At the crucial moment, Todō's enlarged fist punched the boar to its knees. Rin took the opportunity to throw out a rope dart that wrapped around its hind leg. The enraged boar violently thrashed its body, yanking Rin completely off the ground. "Let go!" The instant Shizune drew her kunai and cut the rope, Obito leaped down from the
