After repeated examinations fail to identify a bodily cause, Tsunade concludes that the problem may lie in his spirit. She continues investigating rather than giving up and advises that Nagi’s family should monitor his uncontrolled sleep episodes. 12

Support for Nagi and Kushina

Tsunade takes Nagi and Kushina out for barbecue after the examination, where she is impressed by Nagi’s grilling skill. Once she learns that Nagi seeks work to ease the burden on his older sister, she helps him secure evening work at the Akimichi barbecue restaurant while insisting that he not neglect school or training. 13 14 15

The Choice to Protect Nagi
