"The Guardian of Earth wants to see you. Let's go!" Korin's voice rang out as Zhou Zilong emerged from the chamber where he had taken the Ultra Divine Water.
Zilong nodded, but then a strong wave of hunger hit him. He rubbed his stomach and said awkwardly, "I'm starving. Korin, do you have anything to eat?"
By then, three days had passed since Zhou Zilong drank the Ultra Divine Water. At the time, he'd been locked in a battle of endurance with its poison, trying to see which of them would give out first. He hadn't felt a thing, despite not having eaten or drunk anything.
Korin smiled, as if he'd expected this. He held out his hand, and a green bean appeared in it. "This is a Senzu Bean. Eat it, and you'll recover your strength."
Zhou Zilong took the Senzu Bean and popped it into his mouth. Crunch! Crunch! He began chewing.
Feeling the power coursing through his body, Zhou Zilong pretended to be curious and looked at Korin. "Korin, this bean you gave me is amazing. Could I have some more? I'll trade you fish for them!"
As he spoke, Zhou Zilong pulled several capsules containing live fish from his pocket.
Korin glanced at the capsules in Zhou Zilong's hand, surprise flashing in his eyes. He nodded and led Zhou Zilong over to a huge jar. It was filled with green Senzu Beans that gave off a faint glow.
Korin handed Zhou Zilong a small brown cloth pouch with a cord already threaded through it. "Take these Senzu Beans, but remember not to use them carelessly!"
Zhou Zilong took the pouch and carefully put some Senzu Beans inside.
After filling the pouch, Zhou Zilong turned to Korin again. "Korin, could you teach me how to grow these Senzu Beans? They'd really help me get stronger, and I'd feel bad having to keep asking you for more."
Korin studied Zhou Zilong's earnest expression and nodded. After thinking for a moment, he said, "I don't mind teaching you, but do you have the materials needed to produce Senzu Beans?"
Zhou Zilong thought it over. "I spent some time at the Capsule Corporation in West City. I know a bit about technological manufacturing, so I'm sure I can make what's needed!"
Korin nodded in approval. He took a blank sheet of paper and wrote down detailed instructions for growing Senzu Beans, along with the materials required. Then he handed the paper to Zhou Zilong.
Zhou Zilong accepted it as if it were a priceless treasure. Looking gratefully at Korin, he said, "Thank you, Korin! I'll be sure to study it carefully!"
Korin smiled and nodded, then led Zhou Zilong farther up Korin Tower.
Before long, they reached a wondrous place high in the sky. Zhou Zilong looked up and saw a figure standing before them. He had green skin, a blue cape, and an orange-red symbol for "god" on his chest. Two antennae sprouted from his head, and yellow stripes covered his arms. He looked imposing and mysterious.
Korin greeted the Guardian of Earth respectfully. "Guardian, I'll be going now." Then he turned and left, leaving Zhou Zilong alone with him.
The Guardian of Earth smiled at Zhou Zilong, his voice calm and solemn. "I heard everything you and Korin discussed. If you're willing, I'd like to ask you to help protect this planet."
Zhou Zilong stood tall, his gaze resolute. "Of course. I grew up here. This is my home, and I won't let anyone or anything trample it!"
The Guardian of Earth nodded, a hint of admiration in his eyes. After a brief pause, he asked, "Then is there anything you need my help with?"
Zhou Zilong thought for a moment before answering. "I need a place where I can train more efficiently and consolidate my strength."
The Guardian of Earth smiled faintly, then turned to the dark-skinned man standing beside him, who looked a little vacant. "Mr. Popo, take him to the Hyperbolic Time Chamber!"
Mr. Popo nodded, stepped forward, and said to Zhou Zilong, "Please follow me!"
They walked through a mysterious corridor and stopped in front of what looked like an ordinary room. Mr. Popo gently opened the door, and a strange power immediately filled the air. Zhou Zilong felt as though he'd entered a whole new world, where time seemed to pass much more slowly.
Mr. Popo explained, "This is the Hyperbolic Time Chamber. One year inside is equivalent to one day outside. You can train here in peace and grow stronger!"
Zhou Zilong nodded gratefully and stepped into the Hyperbolic Time Chamber.
"Congratulations, Zilong, you've discovered the Dragon Ball World's training cheat: the Hyperbolic Time Chamber. As a reward, you've received a divine-grade improved version of the Hyperbolic Time Chamber. It's now stored in your system space, and you can claim it whenever you like." Xiao Ling's voice sounded in Zhou Zilong's mind.
Zhou Zilong was delighted and immediately checked the detailed information on the divine-grade improved version of the Hyperbolic Time Chamber.
He discovered that this Hyperbolic Time Chamber was worlds apart from the original. The original could speed up the flow of time, but the actual age of anyone who entered would also be affected. It could only hold a limited number of people, so it couldn't accommodate too many trainees at once. And unless someone was strong enough, they could only enter for two days. (PS: I checked the official explanation. The two-day limit doesn't mean there's a limit on the number of entries; it means you can spend a total of only two years inside. As long as you haven't reached that limit, you can enter and leave as many times as you like.) This improved version had no such restriction.
People who entered this improved chamber wouldn't age at all, allowing them to train without any concerns. What's more, the chamber was enormously spacious, covering an astonishing number of mu. It included not only a dedicated training area, but also a rest area and a place to grow crops.
