After a long silence, Sister Gurwig returned to her seat and spoke softly.

For some reason, Gray sensed a faint sadness from her, but it vanished in an instant, buried once more in the deepest recesses of her heart.

She instinctively looked at Olga Marie beside her, and sure enough, the other girl looked back at her as if their minds had connected.

Sister Gurwig could be said to have witnessed much. If they could obtain information from her, they should be able to resolve quite a few doubts.

"Then... what should we do to return to our original world?"

"In the past, our Church safeguarded the gateway from the world of Ishruna to the outside. Through that gateway, one could travel to other worlds. But the Primal Fire has gone out, and the gateway has lost the power to open."

Sister Gurwig answered without hesitation. The answer was exactly the same as what Sakura had found and what Mr. Gale had said.

"Is there no other way?"

Gray pressed on instinctively.

"Right, do they still remember what Sister Gurwig said?"

She hesitated inwardly, her lips pressed tightly together, unsure whether she should ask those questions.

Sakura suddenly spoke up, seeming rather dissatisfied.

"I never expected Sister Gurwig to say so much today. That's really rare."

Hearing Gray's deduction, Sakura spoke in a half-joking tone.

"Did you notice something, Gray?"

"As for the Remnant Fire's location, it lies at the very deepest point of the ancient ruins, Snowfall Valley—the tomb of the final ruler of the Granger Dynasty."

"That matches what is recorded in the Church's ancient texts."
