Vegeta's Conspiracy

"Not... not yet, but he's already unable to move. I'll kill him before I leave later," Dodoria replied, feeling somewhat guilty.

"Do it then." Frieza waved his hand, ending the call.

Dodoria breathed a slight sigh of relief.

Vegeta, however, smiled even more brilliantly.

"Vegeta, look... I've already done as you said," Dodoria said to Vegeta with a fawning expression.

"Hmph, you did well!" Vegeta smiled faintly.

"What do we do next?" Dodoria asked.

"You have no more value to me!" A murderous intent surfaced in Vegeta's eyes.

"You... what did you say?" Dodoria's expression shifted rapidly. "Vegeta... you, you, you... you're going back on your word!"

"Bang!"

Vegeta lashed out with a fierce kick, slamming it heavily into Dodoria's chest.

Instantly, Dodoria's chest caved in deeply. His entire body flew backward, punching straight through the hull of the spaceship and landing on the ground outside.

Dodoria slid for hundreds of meters across the terrain before finally coming to a halt.

Vegeta flew up and brought his knee down hard onto Dodoria's neck.

"Snap!"

Dodoria's neck twisted and deformed, killing him on the spot.

Vegeta retrieved the Battle God Water from Dodoria's body, then fired a Ki Blast at him, blowing him into dust.

After finishing all this, Vegeta slowly returned to Dodoria's spaceship.

"Prince Vegeta... there was no need to destroy his spaceship!" Nappa looked at Vegeta, feeling a bit confused.

"Hmph, I did it on purpose!" Vegeta scoffed.

"On purpose?" Nappa looked blank.

Vegeta calmly shoved the Battle God Water into a storage locker and began operating the computer console rapidly.

Target: Planet Vegeta!

Launch!

Vegeta pressed the button to launch the spaceship and exited the craft.

"Whoosh!"

The spaceship shot into the sky, instantly breaking through the atmosphere and entering the vastness of space, flying toward Planet Vegeta on autopilot.

"You're letting the spaceship go back by itself?" Nappa scratched his head, struggling to keep up.

"Hmph, of course," Vegeta smiled lightly and said indifferently, "Dodoria obtained the Battle God Water. When Frieza video-called him, he surely told him to drink it and that his combat power had increased sixteen-fold."

"I still don't quite understand..." Nappa looked bewildered.

"You idiot!" Vegeta scolded, his face cold as he explained, "Originally, Frieza was skeptical about the Battle God Water doubling power, but with a loyal subordinate like Dodoria acting as a lab rat, Frieza will believe in it! However, neither Frieza nor Dodoria knows that the Battle God Water has side effects!"

"I get it now..." Nappa realized suddenly. "You intentionally left the Battle God Water in space, guessing that Dodoria would find it and drink it, right?"

"Hmph." The corners of Vegeta's mouth curled upward.

"As expected of Prince Vegeta! This plan is simply brilliant!" Nappa was full of admiration, then asked curiously, "But... why leave a hole in the spaceship?"

"This spaceship will eventually be intercepted by Frieza. When they board it and find that neither I nor Dodoria are there, and see an extra hole in the ship, it will imply that we fought inside... I'll let Frieza imagine the rest!" Vegeta chuckled. "But I think those details won't matter to Frieza. Once Frieza's men find the Battle God Water, Frieza will drink it without hesitation!"

"So that's it!" Nappa gave Vegeta a thumbs-up.

"We'll destroy the communication system on the spaceship, then quietly follow behind them." A smile appeared on Vegeta's face. "Frieza's Frieza's Weakness Period lasts for one day! When the time comes, as long as I drink the Battle God Water, I can wipe Frieza out!"

"But... how can we be sure Frieza will drink the Battle God Water?" Nappa scratched his head and asked.

"No need to be sure! I'm certain he will!" Vegeta scoffed. "The Battle God Water can increase combat power; no one doesn't want to increase their power. You, me, Raditz, even Cui—who hasn't drunk it?"

Nappa suddenly felt that Vegeta was absolutely right.

"And I've already calculated it. By the time we return to Planet Vegeta, it will be a full moon!" A look of supreme confidence appeared on Vegeta's face. "That way, as long as I drink the Battle God Water and transform into a Great Ape, my combat power will be at least 3 million! Even if Frieza's fourth form is 3 million, I won't be afraid!"

Nappa's eyes shone brightly.

Prince Vegeta was absolutely right.

In that case, it really was possible to wipe out Frieza!

The two waited for about an hour before departing in their own spaceship, heading toward Planet Vegeta.

Before leaving, Vegeta and Nappa located the ship's positioning and communication systems and destroyed them.

Three days later.

Near Planet Vegeta, aboard Frieza's spaceship.

Frieza sat in his hoverchair, looking out at the stars, waiting expectantly for the return of the Battle God Water.

With that thing in my possession, I, Lord Frieza, might just be able to surpass Lord Beerus.

It is possible that I will replace him and become the new generation's God of Destruction!

Frieza at this period in time still held relatively simple thoughts.

Frieza naively believed that a battle power of 10 billion would absolutely be enough to defeat Beerus.

It was not until the future Frieza died and was imprisoned in Hell, bound within a cocoon hanging from a great tree, being harassed day and night by the singing of small spirits, that his state of mind was truly tempered.

And it was only after Frieza was resurrected, having undergone those many years of mental tempering in Hell, that he was able to unlock his Golden Mode in a mere six months.

When Frieza finally unlocked his Golden Form, he realized just how vast the gap between himself and Lord Beerus truly was.

The current Frieza is still very young and looks down on everything.

With a battle power of 10 billion, could he really be unable to defeat a God of Destruction?

It is the same logic as Vegeta naively believing that a battle power of 3 million would be enough to pin Frieza to the ground and give him a sound thrashing.

"Lord Frieza, we have just detected that Dodoria's ship is approaching!" Berryblue bowed behind Frieza. "Our men are currently intercepting that vessel!"

"Oh? This fellow has been out of contact for three days!" Frieza furrowed his brows.

"Why would he lose contact?" Berryblue was somewhat puzzled.

"Hmph, Dodoria must have been careless and let Vegeta ambush him; he might have even perished together with him." Frieza was unfazed, though he felt a hint of tension in his heart. "It matters little if they are dead; what I care about most right now is... where is the Battle God Water?"
