Nappa's Death

"What!"

Everyone was astonished by Li Feng's incredible speed.

Li Feng suddenly vanished, then reappeared right in front of Nappa.

"Thwack!"

Li Feng casually threw a punch.

"Boom!"

Nappa's massive body shot away as if struck by a cannonball, smashing through layer after layer of rock.

"You bastard!"

Vegeta was shocked. He hadn't expected this Saiyan's speed to be so far beyond his imagination.

"S-so strong!"

The Z Fighters behind him couldn't help exclaiming.

"You bastard... Cough! Cough! Cough!"

Nappa, who had been struck, struggled to crawl out of the rocks in the distance. His chest armor was shattered, and he spat blood as he cursed.

Just one punch had left Nappa seriously injured.

"Haah!!!!!!"

Boom!

"Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh!"

Nappa powered up!

Terrifying ki erupted from his body!

The rubble and sand on the ground were swept into the air, while his immense energy blasted a crater into the earth beneath his feet.

"I'll kill you!" Nappa snarled through clenched teeth.

He couldn't stand being injured by a weak little ant!

"Whoosh!"

Surrounded by a massive aura, Nappa flew at Li Feng like a wild beast!

He figured that if Li Feng took a punch like that, he'd either die or be seriously injured.

To Li Feng, Nappa seemed to be crawling toward him at a snail's pace.

He dodged with the slightest movement.

"You bastard!"

When Nappa saw his attack miss, he flew into a rage and attacked even faster!

"Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh!"

Li Feng kept moving, his arms folded across his chest as he dodged with ease.

No matter how Nappa attacked, he couldn't even touch Li Feng's shadow.

"Hah! Hah!"

Nappa was panting heavily.

"How dare a lowly Earthling insult a noble Saiyan!" Nappa couldn't take Li Feng's humiliation any longer!

"Kid, is all you know how to do dodge?"

Nappa was sure Li Feng was only a little faster than him. If he landed even one punch, the kid would be finished!

Li Feng grinned. "What's the matter? Can't even keep up with my shadow?"

He taunted Nappa.

"You might as well just surrender."

Vegeta, watching from the side, had veins bulging on his forehead.

"Hey, Nappa! You can't even beat a piece of trash with a battle power of 4,000? Are you trying to get yourself killed?"

Vegeta thought Nappa was disgracing the Saiyans.

"No, Prince Vegeta! I'll finish this kid off right away!"

Nappa broke into a cold sweat.

He had seen Vegeta's cruel methods firsthand.

"Die!"

Nappa attacked again!

"Then let's see what you've got!"

This time, Li Feng didn't dodge.

Nappa swung a punch at Li Feng's chest!

"Boom!"

Li Feng casually blocked it with his left hand!

He stopped Nappa's powerful attack without budging!

The released energy rippled through the air.

"What? How is that possible?!"

Nappa was horrified.

He had checked Li Feng's battle power with his Detector earlier, and it had been only 4,000. Nappa's full power was clearly 6,000, so how could he be losing?

Before Nappa could think it through, Li Feng attacked.

Li Feng kicked out with his right foot, planting it solidly in Nappa's abdomen.

"Cough!"

Pain forced Nappa to spit up bile as his body flew backward into the air.

"Whoosh!"

Li Feng was so fast that he seemed to teleport behind Nappa.

Then he struck with an elbow from his left arm!

Nappa plummeted to the ground like a cannonball.

"Bam!"

The violent impact smashed another huge crater into the ground!

Dust and smoke billowed through the air. When they cleared, Nappa's frail, fallen form was all that remained.

"What?!"

The Z Fighters watching nearby were utterly astonished.

Piccolo was especially shocked. He had made great progress through a year of training, and his battle power was now 5,000.

But when Nappa powered up, Piccolo had still felt that he was in grave danger.

He couldn't believe Li Feng had toyed with Nappa. Just how strong had Li Feng become?

"Uncle Li Feng is so strong!" Gohan exclaimed.

"Just what I'd expect from Li Feng!" Krillin had never seen him fight before, and he couldn't help praising him.

"So this is Li Feng, that mysterious powerhouse? Incredible!" Tien Shinhan exclaimed.

"So this is what gave you confidence?"

Li Feng spoke coldly.

"Cough!" Nappa was so enraged that he spat out another mouthful of blood.

Impossible! He absolutely wouldn't allow this to happen!

His full battle power was as high as 6,000, while the ant before him had a battle power of only 4,000. Yet he had been knocked down in just a few seconds. It was a terrible humiliation!

The pride and self-respect he'd held as a Saiyan had been utterly crushed by Li Feng's strength!

Damn it!

He wanted to fight again!

But he couldn't even get up.

"Nappa! You're useless!"

"How could a noble Saiyan be defeated by a lowly Earthling?"

Vegeta was furious.

Hearing Vegeta's rebuke, Nappa used the last of his strength to crawl toward him.

"Prince Vegeta, save me!"

"I was just careless! Give me a chance, and once I recover, I'll definitely take care of that bastard!"

Nappa still refused to give up, pleading with Vegeta.

Even now, he was shackled by his pitiful pride. He didn't understand why he'd been defeated at all, and blamed his failure on carelessness.

Vegeta raised his right hand.

Hope flared in Nappa's heart.

As expected, Prince Vegeta wouldn't abandon him.

That was what Nappa thought.

Li Feng didn't stop him either. In the original story, Vegeta was supposed to kill Nappa himself. Li Feng's mission was only to defeat the Saiyans, so all he had to do was defeat Vegeta in the end.

Besides, he was happy to see the look of despair on Nappa's face.

"Hmph! I never intended to save you!"

Nappa felt as if he'd fallen into an icy pit.

"Prince Vegeta, I don't understand what you mean."

Nappa thought he must have misheard.

"You think you could beat that guy if you went all out?" Vegeta turned his head aside and spoke coldly.

"Of course I could! A guy like that would be no match for me if I got serious!"

Nappa protested.

"Fool!"

Vegeta cut him off.

"You think his battle power is only 4,000? The Earthlings behind him can change their battle power when they fight, too!"

"He briefly reached a battle power of 9,000 when he attacked!"

"That's why you were defeated so easily!"

"H-how is that possible?"

Nappa simply couldn't believe it.

"The Scouter must be broken!"

Nappa tried desperately to explain himself.

"You're foolish and ignorant. In your current state, you're completely useless."

Vegeta spoke icily.

"You'll die here, just like that piece of trash Raditz!"

A white energy sphere gathered in Vegeta's hand, and he fired it straight at Nappa, who was lying on the ground!

"No! Prince Vegeta!"

Nappa cried out in despair.

He never would have imagined that he wouldn't be killed by Li Feng, but by Prince Vegeta, whom he had always respected!

"No!"

Nappa screamed in despair.

"Boom!"

The energy blast exploded mercilessly against Nappa's body!

When the smoke cleared, Nappa's life had been snuffed out completely.

"What? Aren't they supposed to be comrades?" Krillin and the others were shocked.

Piccolo was aghast, too. He hadn't expected the Saiyan before them to be so cruel!

"He actually killed his own comrade. How cruel." Li Feng had seen this coming long ago.

"Useless trash shouldn't be allowed to exist."

"Now I see that you're worthy of becoming my subordinate."

Vegeta extended an offer to Li Feng.

"Hmph, I refuse."

"So that's how it is. You may have a battle power of 9,000, but you're still nowhere near strong enough to beat me!"

Vegeta made his threat.

"Is that so? I'll return those exact words to you."

Li Feng replied coldly.
