Driven by curiosity, Son Gohan formed an energy sphere and hurled it at the sealed area.
Before Supreme Kai and Kibito could react, the energy sphere was suddenly flung right back at them. It was bizarre.
"Ho! That's interesting." Son Gohan grinned and slapped the sphere away.
It shot off with a roar and exploded in the distance, rising into a massive mushroom cloud.

They both thought the same thing: Saiyans really were terrifying agents of destruction.
It hadn't even been long, and he was already planning to renovate the Sacred World of the Kai.
"Mr. Gohan, please try to go easy. The Sacred Realm can't take this kind of damage," Supreme Kai said, wincing.
"Haha, sure."
After the three of them flew to an open space, Supreme Kai and Kibito were eager to see just how incredible the sword reputed to be the strongest in the universe really was.
By now, Son Gohan was swinging the sword with such force that Supreme Kai and Kibito watched with their hearts in their throats.
They had just witnessed the Z Sword's absurd weight.
Seeing Son Gohan swing it so effortlessly, they couldn't help thinking that Saiyans were simply too monstrous.
After playing around with the sword for a while, Son Gohan quickly lost interest.
With a boom, he transformed into a Super Saiyan.
Then, gripping the hilt with one hand and the blade with the other, he squeezed hard and twisted.
Watching him grit his teeth, Supreme Kai asked curiously, "Mr. Gohan, what are you trying to do?"
Son Gohan stopped and glanced back. "I want to see if I can twist it in half."
"Uh..."
Hearing that, Supreme Kai and Kibito were left dumbfounded.
Sure enough, their earlier judgment had been right.

In an instant, his aura surged skyward. His golden hair stood on end, with a single lock falling over his forehead, and lightning crackled all around him.
He suddenly seemed much colder and more domineering, and his energy had changed beyond recognition.
Supreme Kai and Kibito had been about to speak, but when they saw Son Gohan transform, they swallowed nervously and forced their words back down.
Son Gohan picked up the Z Sword again. The veins on his hands bulged as he twisted with all his might.
With a clang, the sound rang out. Supreme Kai and Kibito nearly jumped out of their skins.
"It broke? It really broke?"
"Is he crazy?"
"H-how could the strongest Z Sword in the universe just break like that?"
"H-how is this possible? Isn't this the most powerful sword in the Sacred Realm?"
"Oh, heavens!"
Supreme Kai and Kibito stared at the sword broken in two in Son Gohan's hands, their mouths hanging open wide enough to fit an entire egg.
"Oh-ho, perfect!" Son Gohan said happily, tossing the two broken pieces to the ground.
"Supreme Kai, this Z Sword really isn't very well made. You bragged that it was the strongest sword in the universe."
"N-no, I didn't." Supreme Kai stammered, his mind filled with the image of the sword breaking.
Was it only the sword that had broken? No. Their faith had broken, too.
Just then, Son Gohan caught sight of Old Kai appearing behind Supreme Kai and Kibito.
His mouth curled into a crooked grin.
Here he was—the legendary opportunity and cheat ability had finally arrived, right on cue.
Old Kai spoke slowly. "That's not how it works~"
His voice was light and airy, as if a ghost were whispering.
A voice suddenly sounded from behind them. Supreme Kai and Kibito felt a chill run down their backs and cried out in alarm, frozen in place.
Supreme Kai and Kibito turned around and saw Old Kai, who looked like a skeleton.
Noticing that Old Kai wore the standard uniform of a Supreme Kai, they both looked uncertain.
Supreme Kai asked nervously, "Sir, who are you?"
Old Kai clapped his hands and stretched his body, then panted, "Me? I'm the Supreme Kai from fifteen generations ago."
"F-fifteen generations ago?" Supreme Kai and Kibito stared at him in shock.
Fifteen generations back meant going back seventy or eighty million years.
What an ancient history!
They had no idea about any of this.
And where had this Old Kai, who claimed to be from fifteen generations ago, come from?
That was still a mystery.
Old Kai continued:
"Long, long ago, there was a very evil and powerful fellow. He feared my abilities, so he sealed me inside that Z Sword..."
Supreme Kai asked, "G-great ancestor, was it Majin Buu?"
Old Kai recalled the past and continued, "It wasn't Majin Buu. It was an evil fellow countless times more terrifying than Majin Buu..."
"There was someone even more terrifying than Majin Buu? W-what happened after that, great ancestor?" Supreme Kai asked in astonishment.
Old Kai coughed. "After that, he sealed me in the sword. And after that, I don't know..."
After hearing the two Supreme Kais talk, Kibito grew excited.
"So the great ancestor was a very powerful Supreme Kai, and the villain feared him, so he sealed you away. Does that mean the great ancestor was much stronger than Majin Buu?"
Old Kai clasped his hands behind his back and struck a self-important pose. "He wasn't afraid of my strength. He was afraid of my ability. I possessed a very frightening ability."
"What is it? What frightening ability?" Supreme Kai and Kibito asked, their eyes shining. The great ancestor's greatness reflected well on them, too.
Old Kai snorted, looking displeased. "Hmph, I'm not telling you. You've truly disappointed me. You couldn't even save me after I'd been sealed in that sword for more than seventy million years."
"In the end, it took a human to let me out. Honestly!"
Supreme Kai and Kibito stood at attention like obedient children and lowered their heads in shame.
The great ancestor was right. They were too useless to rescue him.
Old Kai tilted his head and looked at Son Gohan, who had been enjoying the show. He beckoned him over. "You're the one who let me out, right? Come here."
Son Gohan smiled and walked over. "That was me. I accidentally broke the sword..."

"My frightening ability is that no matter how powerful someone is, I can bring out their potential, let them surpass their limits, and turn them into the most powerful warrior in the universe."
Son Gohan said, "Wow! Can you bring out my potential, too? It sounds pretty amazing, though I don't know if it's real."
Old Kai looked Son Gohan up and down, then said, "Of course it's real! How dare you doubt this old man's abilities? Hmph. Fine. Since you saved me, I'll make an exception and help you."
"All right, stand here and don't move."
"You two, get out of my way!" he snapped at Supreme Kai and Kibito.
"Yes, great ancestor."
Supreme Kai and Kibito slunk off to one side, whispering to each other.
