The Zeno Universe now had eighteen Angels.
Aside from Kusu, the Grand Priest's eldest daughter, who was unwell, seventeen Angels were still able to act normally.
Of those seventeen Angels, Merus was the only junior Angel. Most of the others were intermediate Angels.
There were relatively few senior Angels.
Several of those senior Angels were well known.
Whis of Universe 7, Vados of Universe 6, Korn of Universe 8, and Martinu of Universe 12, for example, were all senior Angels.
There was only one top-tier Angel: their eldest sister, Kusu.
However, Kusu was currently unwell and recuperating on the Planet of the God of Destruction.
Compared to the Dark Demon Realm, this was quite an impressive lineup.
After all, apart from the Grand Angel, the Dark Demon Realm had only ten Dark Angels.
Their total numbers exceeded the enemy's by a full six or seven.
So, after some discussion, Son Gohan made a decision.
Six of the seventeen Angels would be assigned to protect the Grand Priest and His Majesty Grand Zeno.
If the Grand Angel and the Demon Lord really did sneak off to launch a surprise attack on Grand Zeno's Palace, they would be walking straight into a trap.
The Grand Priest might say he did not need protection.
But if your own children volunteer to protect you, what does that have to do with me, Son Gohan?

Son Gohan cheerfully listed the names of six Angels.
Three would protect His Majesty Grand Zeno.
The remaining three would protect the Grand Priest.
Just like that, the matter was happily settled.
